Enjoying Green Tourism in Higashi Matsushima

The Green Tourism staff are advancing one step further in rebuilding for resilience

Along the coastal railroad from Nobiru Station you can see the rugged beauty of the coastline and vast picturesque scenery of Higashi Matsushima. Recovery from the Great East Japan earthquake has steadily advanced and the Sengoku railroad line that runs from Sendai to Ishinomaki has reopened. I went to visit people who worked with green tourism in Higashi Matsushima. They have risen from the disaster 4 years ago and continue to move forward.

Fishing boats also take a break at the calm cove of Satohama, Oku Matsushima
